Six60 have already announced their next Western Springs concert date, just days after playing a sold-out gig to 50,000 people at the Auckland venue.
The Kiwi band joined the likes of David Bowie and the Rolling Stones in selling out the venue, and is the only Kiwi band to have done so.
The Dunedin act has already confirmed that they’ll return to the venue in 2020, after frontman Matiu Walters declared during the performance “we’ve gotta come back next year”.
Fans were told on Saturday to download the app ‘Six60 All Access’ from Apple and Android Stores, which confirmed the date of their next Western Springs event as February 22, 2020.
Concert-goers were also given codes used to unlock the app, which leads them to a Ticketmaster page where tickets can be pre-ordered for $5.
People who have access to this feature then have until April 30 to pay off the remaining ticket price.
Luckily, the band hasn’t raised prices. General admission tickets are going for between $69.90 and $99.90, while VIP tickets range from $249.90 to $279.90.
